Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CGNP) – we are on the list!

The Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) has been set up to accelerate the reduction of emissions in the public sector. Metis has been accepted on to the CNGP Supplier List to provide:

• Advisory services to support the measurement and reporting of GHG emissions
• Advisory services to analyse, develop, implement, support and manage emissions reduction plans and strategies
• Software solutions or tools or other kinds of support to manage emissions reduction plans

We already have an extensive track record in the UK of providing these services. We look forward to providing them in New Zealand. We provide carbon accounting services in the public infrastructure sector with a focus on roading and water.

Our PAS2080:2016 (aligned with ISO 14064:2018 requirements) based approach works with existing in-house systems to make carbon accounting straight forward. We work with our clients to develop internal carbon accounting systems that use existing approaches such as bills of quantities for construction or maintenance activities. This allows for standardisation of carbon measurement and reporting for day-to-day activities and provides a strong basis for capital projects.
